The service

DataBuddy, a product of Autonomous.eu, lets you collect information from websites, feeds and data files into lists, and use them in DataBuddy, as a download or through the API. These terms apply when you use the website, the app or the API.

Your account

You log in with your email address. Keep access to your mailbox and your API keys safe: what happens with them is your responsibility. Tell us right away if you think someone else uses your account.

What you collect

• You are responsible for the websites you add and the data you collect, and for respecting the terms of those websites, copyright, database rights and privacy law.
• Do not use DataBuddy to collect data behind logins you are not allowed to use, to overload websites, or for anything unlawful.
• We may pause websites or updates that harm a website or break these terms, and tell you why.

Plans and payment

The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled at any time; they stop at the end of the paid month. Prices exclude VAT. Done-for-you work is quoted up front and billed separately.

Your data

Your lists are yours. You can download them at any time. When you delete a project or your account, we delete its data within 30 days.

Availability

We work hard to keep DataBuddy available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it never fails. Websites change, so a website may need its fields picked again.

Liability

We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit or lost data from websites you collect from. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may change these terms. For important changes we tell you by email at least 30 days in advance. If you don't agree, you can stop using DataBuddy before they apply.
