Who we are
DataBuddy is a product of Autonomous.eu. We are responsible for the personal data described here. Questions or requests: use our contact page.
What we collect about you
- Account details: your email address and, if you give it, your name.
- What you set up and collect in DataBuddy: projects, websites, fields, lists and API keys (keys are stored as a hash, never in plain text).
- Messages you send us through the contact form.
- Basic technical logs (IP address, browser, time) to keep the service running and secure.
Why we use it
To provide the service you ask for: logging you in, collecting your items, storing and serving your lists, and answering your messages. Our legal basis is the contract with you and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Data you collect with DataBuddy
For the data your websites collect, you decide what is collected and why: you are the controller and we process it on your behalf. You are responsible for having a legal basis, especially when it contains personal data. A data processing agreement is available on request.
Who helps us
- Amazon Web Services: our servers, in Paris (EU).
- Cloudflare: secure and fast delivery of our websites.
- Twilio SendGrid: sending login emails and our replies.
They only process data on our instructions.
How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. When you delete a project or your account, we delete its data within 30 days, except what we must keep by law (for example invoices).
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and object to certain uses. Ask us through the contact page; we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Cookies
This website uses no tracking cookies. The DataBuddy app stores your login in your browser so you stay logged in.
Changes
When we change this policy, we update the date above. For important changes we let you know by email.
